Aquaculture equipment supplier Akva promoted John Fredrik Gjesdal to COO of the company's land-based business unit, effective Oct. 13.
Gjesdal had been Akva's vice president for strategy and business development for the last three and a half years.
He replaces Morten Nielsen, who was appointed general manager in Akva's Danish land-based division, where he will focus on business development and strengthening organization in the region.
