All eyes on Japan: Senior Reporter Dominic Welling spent some time in Japan, where he met with top executives from seafood giants Maruha Nichiro as well as Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui).
He also reported on Trident Seafoods' plans to make a big push with value-added pollock products into the country and sat down with the president of the Japanese Fisheries Association to talk about the declining seafood consumption, boosting Japan’s international presence and rebuilding Fukushima’s fishing industry.
