The daylong event, at the May Fair Hotel in London, will examine investment strategies in the global wild-capture and aquaculture sectors and the role of private equity in restructuring the seafood sector.
Dr. Fraser Thompson, Senior Fellow, McKinsey Global Institute, will be the keynote speaker, followed by panels on the outlook for global seafood investment opportunities in the wild and farmed seafood industries.
These panels will explore a range of topics, including:

- Is there a future IPO market for fisheries companies?

The panels include noted industry experts including Bernt Bodal, CEO, American Seafoods; Arne Mogster, CEO, Austevoll; Olav Holst-Dyrnes, CEO, Havfisk; Viggo Halseth, COO, Nutreco Aquaculture; Henning Beltestad, CEO, Lerøy Seafood Group; and Francisco Murillo, CBDO & CIO, Regal Springs Tilapia Group.
A third panel, led by Edward Han, managing director, Bain Capital Private Equity; Ejnar Knudsen, managing member, AGR Partners; and Mitchell Presser, founding partner, Paine & Partners, will explore the main drivers in seafood that are compelling for private equity investors, and which companies and species hold the most investment promise.
