UK trade body Seafish has published the second edition of its guide to support seafood businesses preparing for the UK's withdrawal from the European Union (EU).

The revamped version of UK Seafood Industry Guide – Preparing your Business for EU Exit reflects changes in advice since its launch in January.

Seafish’s regulation team have added a range of new sections offering guidance on a range of matters.

These include the impact of the UK falling back on WTO rules, incorrect labelling, trading with EEA countries and obtaining export health Certificate under a ‘no deal’ scenario, which still remains the default position for the UK’s departure on March 29 despite lawmakers voting it down in parliament this week.
