Red Lobster is pushing ahead with the opening of its new branch in Hong Kong, set for November, despite ongoing civil unrest in the country, Bloombergreported.

The branch will be located in Causeway Bay, which is also a site for anti-government protests that have been ongoing for 13 weekends.

Retail sales in Hong Kong fell by 13 percent in July, the month following the start of protests, Bloomberg reported. It's unclear whether the protests will be over by November.

There are currently two Red Lobster branches in China.
