US seafood restaurant chain Red Lobster has appointed Jason Hagen as protein procurement manager.
Hagen joins from Florida's Shaw’s Southern Belle Frozen Foods after a brief period in the post of director of Procurement.
He has extensive frozen supply chain management, logistics and operations experience in the global seafood industry, having previously worked nearly 13 years at King & Prince Seafood.
Starting there as a fish and surimi raw material buyer in 2010, Hagen stepped up to the role of procurement manager three years later, forging links with sources in South America, Asia and Europe.
