The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is urging German businesses to focus more on stamping out human rights abuses within the seafood supply chain as part of a wider initiative.
The country has begun assessing whether its businesses are taking the necessary actions to stamp out human rights abuses in their international operations, and recently published the "National Action Plan Business and Human Rights."
EJF said it welcomed the paper, but highlighted the need for a focus on abuses in the seafood industry, in particular.
