Forbes named CP Foods founder Dhanin Chearavanont as the richest man in Thailand with a net worth of $29.5 billion (£22.6 billion/€26.3 billion).
Chearavanont stepped down CP Foods senior chairman earlier in April but remains chairman of CP All, the operator of 7-Eleven stores.
Chirathivat family of the conglomerate holding company Central Group and Red Bull owner take second and third place with a net worth of $21 billion (£19.1 billion/€18.7 billion) and $19.9 billion (£15.3 billion/€17.8 billion) respectively.
