TheAssociation of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) said Monday it has hired Anna Carpenter to fill the newly created GAPP communications and membership coordinator position.

Carpenter will assist GAPP in crafting its promotion program for Alaska pollock, be the voice of GAPP on social media, and support the the trade group's members.

Carpenter is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she received a B.A. in Communication Studies. She was recently employed by Dimension Mill, a non-profit startup based in Bloomington, Indiana.
