Demand for private label products is likely to rise, amid fears of an impending economic downturn in the post-COVID period ahead

That's the view of Ireland-based Malachy O'Connor, a partner at the IPLC international private label consultancy who recently carried out research in the Irish market looking at consumer habits and behavior linked to the pandemic.

"I would say the direction of travel will be in favor of private label," O'Connor told IntraFish.
