Spanish fishing giant Nueva Pescanova Group launched two new shrimp fishing vessels since the beginning of the year. Both vessels are destined for its Mozambique subsidiary Pescamar.

The Ponta Timbue was launched on Jan. 29 at the Armon shipyard facilities in Vigo, Spain, and on Feb.17 the group also took delivery of the Ponte Macalonga.

The new vessels form part of group’s pledge to renew its fleet in Namibia and Mozambique.
