The transition of Boston-based Stavis Seafoods from a 90-year-old, family-owned seafood supplier to a subsidiary of a growing international seafood conglomerate took another step forward earlier this month with the promotion of David Lancaster to company president.
Lancaster will have to draw on all of his 30 years of experience in seafood to steer the historic fish and shellfish supplier into its next era.
