With Icelandic farmed salmon production tripling in the past three years, now is the right time for Icelandic Salmon -- formerly known as Arnarlax -- to make a move to Oslo Stock Exchange's Merkur Market as the company searches for ways to unlock growth potential, CEO Bjorn Hembre told IntraFish.

In October, the SalMar-owned Icelandic salmon farmer changed its name to Icelandic Salmon, as part of a plan to build a brand around the species' origin.
