Chilean feed producer Salmofood, owned by Vitapro, says it is on track to produce a fishmeal and fish oil-free diet for salmon but it is keeping its expected timeline for release under wraps.
As part of a study being carried out at the Aquaculture Experimental Center (CEA), fish have already reached the middle of their productive cycle without being fed with fishmeal or fish oil.
