Marine conservation NGO Oceana is accusing a group of Chilean salmon producers of hypocrisy for trying to prevent the release of information related to antibiotic use at production sites.

Although other producers have complied, Invermar, AquaChile, Acuimag, Aguas Claras and Exportadora Los Fiordos are asking an appeals court in Puerto Montt to quash a ruling made by Chile's Council for Transparency (CPLT) ordering National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service (Sernapesca) to deliver all information to Oceana on the use of antibiotics and production in 2018.
