Russia's Murman Seafood launched a new processing facility in Kola, Murmansk, the tenth such plant built under a state-supported investment program.

The facility cost about RUB 2 billion (€22.5 million/$26.7 million) and will create around 200 jobs in the area, according to Murmansk's Governor Andrey Chibis.

Murman Seafood will process about 63.7 metric tons of cod and haddock mince and fillets per day in the facility, with cold storage space for about 3,000 metric tons.
