Delpierre, owned by Labeyrie Fine Foods, will open a dedicated sushi preparation and packing plant next month in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, a company spokesperson confirmed.

The company invested €3 million ($3.25 million) to refurbish a former logistics center to reintegrate operations after a fire a year ago forced the company to spread operations across three separate sites and avoid layoffs.

Funds from regional development agencies are helping the company to put sushi operations back under one roof.
