Salmon farmer AquaChile filled an entire charter flight exclusively with its own salmon and flew it to Miami, the company said Thursday.

The Atlas Air-operated Boeing 747 carried 105 metric tons of salmon, the majority from AquaChile's own premium brand Verlasso.

This helped reduce transit time while maintaining its commitments in both the United States and China. "This operation is unique in Chile and marks the first charter filled exclusively by a salmon farming company," said Supply Chain Manager Matias Silva.
