US-based seafood supplier Fortune International has acquired the Kansas City operations of Seattle Fish, a Colorado-based seafood distributor.
The acquisition expands the Fortune Fish & Gourmet brand to markets in Missouri and nearby states, including Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska and Arkansas.
"This is our second strategic acquisition in the last 12 months in the region and an important one for our future growth plans," Fortune CEO Sean J. O'Scannlain said.
Seattle Fish, Kansas City, serves more than 500 restaurants and markets in the Midwest region.
