Delaware bankruptcy judge Judge Laurie Selber Silverstein will allow beleaguered company Bumble Bee to keep employee incentive programs that plan to pay out millions of dollars to executives during the tuna giant's Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, Law360reported.

The incentive plan was justified because the 37 executives were pushed to reach goals while working outside their normal scope of duties.

As a result of the bankruptcy filing, Bumble Bee has been forced to work much more closely with customers and retailers as suppliers asked for shortened payment terms.
