The madness of last week's salmon prices looks set to continue, with prices for next week looking to hit up to NOK 100 (€10.10/$11.20) per kilo, but with huge variances between weight classes, salmon traders told IntraFish Friday.
"I have never ever experienced such large price fluctuations, and such large gaps," said one exporter, pointing at the other end of the scale, to the price of this week's leftover fish dropping to NOK50-60 per kilo in Poland, with many exporters losing a lot of money.
