As she steps in as the Scottish Fishermen's Federation new CEO, Elspeth Macdonald plans to make the fishing industry the fastest growing sector in the Scottish economy over the next 10 years.
"To do that, we will require an uplift in quota in the short term upon leaving the Common Fisheries Policy," Macdonald said, who is also the deputy chief executive of Food Standards Scotland.
