Carl-Erik Arnesen, CEO of wellboat operator Hav Line, stepped down from his executive role and took over as interim chairman of the company Monday.

At the same time, Jon Hindar, former CEO of Cermaq, and chairman of Have Line, resigned from his position on the board. Arnesen will stay as chairman until the company finds a new CEO.

The Hav Line concept is a wellboat combining harvesting, processing, and transportation, and is designed to shorten the value chain in order to improve fish quality, and reduce waste.
