Aquaculture genetics, health and nutrition business Benchmark Holdings successfully prosecuted infringement of its patents by Marine-Tech International (MTI) in Thailand.
The IP&IT court in Bangkok ruled that MTI infringed both patents, relating to Benchmark's artemia hatching and enrichment technologies, and ordered MTI to cease using Benchmark's patented technology. It also awarded damages in Benchmark's favor, which may yet be subject to appeal.
