Russian whitefish giant Norebo Group is on track to upgrade its fishing fleet through the government's investment quota program despite acute sanctions-related challenges the domestic shipyards are facing.
In October, St. Petersburg-based shipyard Severnaya Verf launched a new factory trawler for Murmansk-based Alternativa, a unit of Norebo Group.
The Kapitan Tuzov is the fifth in a series of 10 factory trawlers ordered by Norebo at Severnaya Verf through the state investment quota program.
