Land-based salmon producer Atlantic Sapphire said it emerged unscathed from Hurricane Ian, which has ravaged parts of Florida near where the company is located.
"The ongoing storm is passing to the west of our Homestead, Florida, location on its way north, so this storm has no impact on our operation," Atlantic Sapphire CFO Karl Oystein Oyehaug said in an email to IntraFish.
The company is, however, situated in a risk area of Florida for hurricanes at this time of year.
