The move comes after Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer, acquired at least a 75 percent stake in the Scottish salmon producer.

Wester Ross saw its operating profit increase 19 percent in the year ending Dec. 31, to just over £2.6 million (€3.1 million/$3.1 million). Revenue was £16.2 million (€19.2 million/$19.3 million) down 6 percent from the year prior.

The company was founded in 1977, making Wester Ross one of the oldest salmon farmers in Scotland.

Bradley chaired the Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation (SSPO), now Salmon Scotland, between 2017 and 2019.
