Maiko van der Meer, the former top executive at Dutch shrimp giant Klaas Puul and Mowi Consumer Products and more recently founder of plant-based seafood company Novish, has joined 2 Sisters Storteboom as managing director.

2 Sisters Storteboom is a Netherlands-based part of UK-based 2 Sisters Food Group, a private-label supplier to Marks & Spencer and other retail and foodservice companies. 2 Sisters is in turn owned by £2.7 billion (€3.1 billion/$3.3 billion) turnover Boparan Holdings.

Van der Meer founded Novish in 2019 and still sits on the board.
