Leroy Havfisk, part of the Leroy Seafood Group and Norway's largest fishing company, is targeting a 46 percent reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030, but getting there will not be easy, said CEO Eldar Farstad.

The company has 10 trawlers in operation and between 10-11 percent of the Norwegian whitefish quotas. Its total catch volume in 2021 was 88,000 metric tons live weight.

“We all know the commitment in the Paris agreement, and Leroy has high ambition to reduce the CO2 emissions in the coming years,” said Farstad.
