Mowi was ready to make a higher offer for NTS, feels cheated in its battle with fellow salmon farmer SalMar

Mowi, the world's largest salmon farmer had signalled to aquaculture services giant and fellow fish farmer NTS it would make a higher offer than SalMar for the acquisition of the company, but was never given the chance, according to a series of documents seen by IntraFish.

Rorvik-based NTS Group operates salmon farming company SalmoNor, as well as service boats and well boats through the company Froy, in which it owns 72 percent.

NTS is also the main owner of Norway Royal Salmon (NRS), which in turn is the main owner of Icelandic Arctic Fish.
