Just three seafood plants have reopened their doors in the main seafood processing district of Zhuanghe in the key seafood port city of Dalian, China, which has been under lockdown since November because of China's strict COVID-19 zero-tolerance policy, according to a Chinese seafood industry source with knowledge of the situation.
Earlier this year, workers were not expected to return to plants until mid-February, after the Chinese New Year holiday, although some didn't expect production to restart until early March.
