A California court has ruled in favor of Chilean agri-food giant Agrosuper subsidiary AquaChile in a case against Santa Barbara Smokehouse, which alleged a potential sale of its business was four months into due diligence when AquaChile abruptly cut off its supply and terminated its business with the company, a move that "scuttled" the anticipated deal.
