Cooke-owned Cold Ocean Salmon, which operates in Newfoundland, said on Friday it detected infectious salmon anemia (ISA) in one of its Atlantic salmon operations during routine health inspections.

The company on Nov. 19 reported two detections of ISA in one salmon cage at its North West Cove marine site. The cage has not yet been confirmed to be ISA positive by Newfoundland and Labrador's Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture (FFA), Cooke said.
