Canadian frozen food giant High Liner Foods posted a 17.5 percent increase in third quarter operating earnings, helped by a recovery in the North American foodservice sector and continued strength in its retail business.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 17.5 percent to $22.4 million (€19.8 million) during the third quarter compared to the third quarter of 2020, while revenues totaled $214.3 million (€189.3 million), a rise of 10 percent.
