Norwegian salmon producer SalMar posted posted revenue and harvest volume increases in the third quarter, but higher costs in its processing division negatively impacted earnings per kilo.
The company posted overall earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization of NOK 947 million (€95.9 million/$108.5 million), a 12 percent hike that did not reflect the 41 percent increase in harvests and 37 percent increase in operating revenue.
