Whitefish giant Russian Fishery Company inked a long-term agreement with a Nippon Suisan Kaisha (Nissui) affiliate that could bring as much as 20,000 metric tons of surimi products onto the lucrative Japanese market within the next year.
Under terms of the deal, Daisui, which counts Nissui as one of its largest shareholders, will sell and market Russian Fishery's surimi in Japan.
Russian Fishery's long-time marketing partner, Pacific Rim Group, will act as the strategic supplier and distributor of the product to Daisui.
