Agri-giant Cargill on Thursday announced a new president for its Aqua Nutrition business in the wake of the departure of Pilar Cruz last month.

The US group, which is now the second-largest aquaculture feed producer behind Nutreco-owned Skretting, named longtime Cargill executive Helene Ziv-Douki as president of its Aqua Nutrition business.

Ziv-Douki, who joined Cargill in 2003, already has exposure to the aquaculture sector; She has been a member of the group's animal nutrition and health team since 2017 as risk management and sourcing director for the company's aqua nutrition business.
