Massachusetts-based East Coast Seafood has hired former Inland sales leader Lonnie Collier to be part of its expanding sales team in its southeastern US region.

Steve Musser, the company's vice president of sales, announced the hire via LinkedIn Wednesday, noting Collier will play a "key role in East Coast/Seatrade sales expansion moving forward." Seatrade is the company's scallop firm.

"I’ve been very lucky to work with Lonnie over my career in the food business and specifically a decade in seafood – he’s an amazing addition to our sales team," said Musser, who also left Inland for East Coast in 2017. "With the vertical integration offered by East Coast/Seatrade, we continue to experience unique development opportunities and growth on many levels."

Collier worked at Inland for over 23 years in sales, and according to Musser, "offers an outstanding reputation in the marketplace."
