Research from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences claims China’s boycott on Norwegian salmon is affecting Chinese consumers more than Norway’s salmon industry, reported NMBU.
PhD candidate Xianwen Chen found restrictions on Norwegian salmon imports to China did not keep the fish from coming into the country, but rather resulted in high-price, low-quality product being sold to consumers.
