Surimi sales are booming in the US, and this Walmart supplier has a plan to capitalize on it

Daryl Gormley will tell you in no uncertain terms that he is obsessed with surimi.

"I get up every day and I am thinking about surimi, and I go to bed every night thinking about surimi," Gormley, the CEO of surimi supplier Aquamar, told IntraFish.

This hyper focus will serve him well as he integrates newly acquired rival surimi supplier Shining Ocean into the Aquamar group, which is most notably the primary supplier of the product to retail giant Walmart.
