Chilled seafood has managed to continue its long-term return to growth in the UK market after the declines of last year, according to Kantar Worldpanel research.

Sales by value increased 0.4 percent in the 12 weeks through May 25, while volumes were 1.8 percent higher.

"We’ve continued to see the trend of more trips driving the growth, with 2.1 million more trips in the last 12 weeks," said Kantar Business Unit Manager Nathan Ward.
