American Starkist is launching five new flavors for its tuna pouch range, and is further investing in travel-friendly can formats, reports Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The Thai chili style, jalapeno and hot buffalo style flavors are already on grocery shelves, and another two -- sriracha and tapatio -- will come to stores in September.
“With the cans, people think of it as more of an ingredient,” said Andrew Choe, president and CEO of Starkist. “The pouch is more of a convenience. You just tear, eat and go."
