Seafood restaurant chain Red Lobster is the latest in a raft of companies pulling advertising from a US talk show after the host made controversial comments about women and immigrants, reports Business Insider.

The Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently blamed high-earning women for "men in decline," and said that allowing immigrants from impoverished countries to come to the United States would make it "poorer and dirtier."

The seafood chain follows at least 19 other advertisers to have cut advertising on the show since December after critics pointed out it was one of the few brands that continued to advertise.
