Spanish value-added seafood processor Angulas Aguinaga reported a 15 percent growth jump in sales in 2018 and doubled its international presence thanks to several product launches in European markets.

Total revenues reached €186 million ($211.4 million) and are on track to exceed the company’s €220 million ($250 million) goal by 2020.

“The key to this growth was the boost of our three brands, La Gula del Norte, Krissia and Aguinamar,” the company said.

In addition, the growth was enabled by a strong performance in international markets, especially France and Italy, partly driven by the acquisition of octopus processor Viveros Merimar.
