Which seafood brand do Spaniards prefer most?

This brand succeeded in penetrating more than half of Spanish households year-on-year.

Spanish giant Pescanova is the eighth-most consumed brand by Spaniards, according to Kantar’s Brand Footprint 2019, and the No. 1 seafood brand.

Pescanova moved up one position compared to last year’s study.

The company remains fourth most powerful brand and fifth in penetrating households. The brand can be found in about 64 percent of Spanish household in all varieties be it frozen or chilled.

Citizens chose the Pescanova brand about 54.2 million times and at an average of 4.8 times per year.

The footprint was sampled from 12,000 representative Spanish homes and ranks based on number of consumers and frequency of purchase.
