Known in Japan as ‘Onigirazu,’ the sushi sandwich combines a traditional sandwich with a Japanese sushi roll, according to a report in the Mirror.

M&S has released two options, a Soy & Ginger Chicken sushi sandwich, and a Chicken, Bacon and Avocado sushi sandwich, both priced at £4 (€4.55/$5).

“We really wanted to offer customers even more delicious sushi options with something that no one else on the high street is doing,” M&S sandwich developer Helen Brennan told the newspaper.
