The SNP will supply teachers across the country with grants to bring aquaponics systems into the classroom to help inform schoolchildren about aquaculture and its importance in supplying healthy food.

In addition, SNP hopes to help teachers educate students about sustainability and the benefits of eating seafood.

The pilot project has been launched in Indiana, Oklahoma, South Caroline, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
