Russia’s Pollock Catcher Association (PCA) and scientists from Murmansk-based PINRO - the Polar branch of Russian research institute of fisheries and oceanography (VNIRO) – have embarked on a joint project to develop a new sorting system designed to significantly reduce bycatch of juvenile pollock.
