LOOE trawler Paravel, which sank recently, returns under a new owner. Vic Henwood is making a major investment to refurbish the vessel showing his confidence in the future of the SW fishing industry.
His investment includes a career change for his son Mark, now starting his apprenticeship to learn inshore stern trawling.
The family's current boat Marigold A CO 423 is now for sale without a fishing license. "It will not be easy to see her go, " said Skipper Henwood as he described the many successful years that Marigold A has given to him and his crewman Sandy Spence.
