Midt-Norsk Havbruk has acquired 14.45 percent of the shares in Norway Royal Salmon (NRS), further strengthening parent company NTS's ownership position in the listed fish farming company to 30.84 percent, and triggering an obligation to take full ownership from or sell down some shares.
Aquaculture giant NTS announced Norwegian salmon farming subsidiary Midt-Norsk Havbruk had sold all its shares in Icelandic salmon farmer Ice Fish Farm to Masoval in November, in exchange for settlement in shares in NRS.
